WALDEN INCENSE, 2023
Incense has always gone hand in hand with meditation. It sets the tone, shifts the space, helps you arrive. It can give you a point of focus when you are meditating. The packaging design was about highlighting that role and meant to feel as sensory as the incense itself. The inspiration was part chocolate box, part cigarette pack. A quiet ritual before the ritual. The incense we used was pure wood. No synthetic fillers, no synthetic fragrance.

PALO SANTO
While at Walden, we worked again with Bioalchemy to develop palo santo sticks that are hand-carved from wild-harvested, naturally fallen trees. We adapted the incense packaging to accommodate the larger volume of sticks and chose a dark sienna exterior to mimic the color of fallen palo santo tree flowers.
