OEM CARE KIT, 2023

3D printing makes ideas functional without big budgets. OEM Care Kit is a 3D-printed case that unifies OEM’s care set into a single, portable unit. Treating the individual products as organs within a custom-fitted body, I designed the enclosure around a layout optimized for 3D printing.

Snap-in balm casings detach for keychain use:

and four holes allow for a carry strap to be integrated with custom logo-embossed cord end caps:

Printed from the same material, the packaging system includes custom inserts for secure shipping, a strap holder, an info card, and a pegboard onto which suction cups and 3D-printed standoffs can be attached for wall mounting.

The OEM Care Kit is an artifact of the process itself. The prototype is the product.
